Blown out, progressive guitar composition from Dreamsploitation, with Jupiter Flight, the second release from new imprint, Clocks & Daggers. Somewhat of a spiritual middle ground between post rock, pop, and drone. Up tempo guitar and percussion, delicate melodic experimentation, presented in a hazy film of production that provides a certain element of challenge, while remaining accessible. The most intriging track of the four, (though all are excellent) is the opener, No More Sunshine. Big, joyous sounds, vocals, hectic percussion. peaking crescendos that seem meant to uplift and inspire. I've been missing stuff like this lately, and I'm glad to see it back.
